It’s about time for adventurous souls all over to plan uber-creepy trips, like ghostly haunted houses, corn mazes full of ghouls, and, oh yeah, the Titanic Memorial Cruise.
That’s right. For almost a century there has been a melancholic fascination with the tragic sinking of the “unsinkable” that occurred on April 15th, 1912. This fascination has fueled dozens of books, documentaries, and that movie starring that guy (what’s his name again?). But now this enthrallment has gotten a little, dare we say, morbid.
On April 8th, 2012, the Titanic Memorial Cruise will set sail from Southampton, England, Titanic’s initial port. From there it will visit Cobh, Ireland, Titanic’s last port of call, and will continue on towards Halifax, N.S., Canada. Its final destination (hopefully) will be New York City.
