Do you have what it takes to help quell one of nature's fiercest forces, an adventure rated #22 on our Best American Adventures list? In this video, National Geographic photographer Mark Thiessen provides incredible imagery of what it's like to be inside a wild fire. It's a dangerous, dirty, deadly job. If that's a little too hot for you, cool off with our fly-fishing the Pecos River video.
This video was just nominated for a Webby Award. If you liked it, vote for it here. (You have to register to vote, but it's really painless.)
At time of writing, it has already won a golden globe (Portman, best actress) and has been nominated for similar awards at the Oscars. I find it quite annoying that the cardboard cutout of a film behind the lead actress is completely ignored because Natalie Portman acted well.

These adventure video clips are really awesome and thanks for sharing. The fire looks very dangerous and very difficult to bear the heat. It is really a dangerous, grimy and noxious job.
Best Regards,
