Let's face it: We are music obsessed and addicted, thanks to the relatively recent birth of iPods and other rattle-proof MP3 players that have become part of the fabric of life. And a compact new gadget makes it easy to broadcast your own soundtrack anywhere, even biking, hiking, or camping.
Rock-It ($49.99) is the first ever portable vibration speaker that will turn anything into a speaker. It turns music into vibration sequences and sends them through the Rock-It pod, which you can stick to any object and turn it instantly into a speaker. It also weighs only ½ lb and small enough to fit in your back pocket.
We haven't yet tested how well Rock-It would stick or sound while attached to a tent, but assuming it's not damp, we think it has a shot. The company recommends cardboard boxes, hollow objects, lamp shades, plastic cups, and windows.
Well rock n' roll might be here to stay but it would be different from the old one.

They say that rock and roll is here to stay, I have to agree with them.

I am looking for the title of a cartoon series I saw as a child
growing up in Ecuador, and anything I could read pertaining to it. It
was on the TV possibly around 1991-94, however it might be much older
than that. It was a cartoon with a little boy who owned two genies,
one being a fat, oafish man and the other being his smarter daughter.

I got one a few weeks back after seeing it on TV. I never really thought of its potential uses outdoors, but heck, I guess it could do well on water bottles, coolers, and pots and pans (while not on the fire of course).
Cool Product

My work partner's son's science class tried it and it worked pretty well. Word spread quickly and now more classes are trying it.
