It’s something most of us do without thinking - walk into the kitchen first thing in the morning and put the kettle on. As a nation, we in the UK drink 165 million cups of tea every day and about 70 million cups of coffee. For every cup of tea or coffee you drink, you take in around 200 mls of fluid, (depending on the size of your cup). About 40 percent of the nation’s fluid intake comes from tea alone.
